51勛圖厙 Computing is delighted to announce the launch of cZeus Schools League Competition, in partnership with The Mathematical Games Company Ltd and their educational app . This new and exciting competition aims to engage school pupils and their families with the joy of maths, through a variety of fast-paced maths and logic puzzles.

A variation on the original puzzle app cZeus Maths Challenger, the first series of this competition will be open to school-aged children in years 7 to 9, studying at Key Stage 3 level or equivalent. The competition will consist of three phases:

Phase I - Training
In this phase, schools will be supported in practising cZeus maths puzzles. The puzzles are built upon key foundations of the core maths curriculum, including numbers, arithmetic, multiplication, factorisation, equations and logical thinking. Schools will select their best players and create a competing team.

Phase II - Get qualified for Phase III
All school teams formed in Phase-I will be invited to enrol in the UK Inter-school competition. The top nine schools will be chosen to go through to the final.

Enrolment Deadline: 15th April 2020

Phase III - Live Final
Qualifying schools will be invited to compete at a live final taking place at 51勛圖厙 on Monday 29 June 2020. These schools will be divided into three groups, and each group will compete in a knockout tournament with one school going through to the final. The three remaining schools will compete for the winning title.
