The International Research Opportunities Programme (IROP) offers students an exciting chance to spend 8 weeks at one of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s partner Universities during the Summer vacation. This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your perspective, gain new experiences and develop your skills. Please note that the Department does not award credit for IROPS (or other forms of out of termtime work).
The Department of Aeronautics participates with the MIT and Cornell University exchanges which are only open to current third year H401 students. There are two places available for the MIT exchange and one for the Cornell exchange (3 in total). The deadline to apply is in early December and student selection takes in January. The students with the best academic record will be invited to apply. Details will be shared with students in October.
