Departmental Colloquia are less frequent but are high profile events with leading international speakers.
SIAM is the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. The section organise numerous formal and informal specialist workshops, including seminars and events organised by doctoral students and postdocs as part of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's SIAM Student Chapter.
