The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC) is a partnership between 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Healthcare NHS Trust. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College AHSC is one of only six centres nationwide to receive the prestigious designation from the Department of Health. The vision of our AHSC is that the quality of life of our patients and populations will be measurably improved by translating discoveries into medical advances, new therapies and techniques, and by promoting their application in the NHS and around the world. This vision is realised through our NIHR 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) which takes basic research findings and translates them for patient benefit.
