The Centre for Health Policy is a research centre of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI). IGHI forms part of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's strategy to find solutions to global challenges by focusing multidisciplinary research expertise on addressing international issues.
The Centre:
- Creates high-quality, clinically-driven research on the most important strategic challenges facing health systems;
- Supports the development of innovative health policy through bridging gaps between the academia, the public and private sectors, and policy-makers;
- Diffuses the best in evidence-based policy globally through its partnership with the Qatar Foundation on the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH);
- Develops the next generation of policy-makers through an innovative two-year, part-time MSc in Health Policy.
Our mission
We work to catalyse the development, uptake and diffusion of innovative, evidence-based health policies around the world. Our work is focused on health policy development, the diffusion of innovation, patient safety, e-health and informatics (including Big Data), behavioural economics, quality outcome metrics and the economic analysis of healthcare practices.
