#MICER26 Poster Event
#MICER26 is a free global online poster conference held on LinkedIn over the course of a week. The 2026 edition will take place from Monday 11 May to Friday 15 May 2026 (inclusive).
The event brings together the global chemistry community to network with colleagues across the world and at every career stage, share their research and interact.
We want #MICER26 to be an inclusive event, connecting researchers and practitioners from around the world to share and discuss their work. While #MICER26 takes place on LinkedIn, we are happy for participants to cross-post their posters to engage in discussion with members of the community that use other social media platforms.

Top tips for preparing your #MICER26 poster
- Keep it simple: Make your poster appeal to a general audience by making the science understandable by non-experts. Avoid using lots of text and instead summarise the main aspects of the work through graphics and figures.
- Make it eye-catching: #MICER26 is a chance to let your creativity shine. Consider infographics, animations, icons, etc.
- Be attentive to font size and format: Make sure posters can be read on digital devices by ensuring a larger font size, less text and stand-out graphics. Posters should allow high-resolution zoomability if required and we encourage avoiding taking photos of posters and uploading these.
- You can choose any dimensions for your #MICER26 poster, the important thing is that the text and figures are clear for people to read and understand. Using Microsoft PowerPoint, we found a text size of between 12-16 were clear to read when saving an A4 slide as a JPEG and uploading to LinkedIn. Using an A0 template, the text needed to be between 50 and 60 to be legible. You can use any software you like to create your poster, as long as the image you upload is clear for others to read. We recommend testing your poster on LinkedIn before the conference to make sure you are happy with your image.

- Uploading a link to a PDF of your poster, alongside your image, may enable the use of screen readers for the visually impaired.
- We encourage you to capitalise words in hashtags, use simple language and explain any acronyms, to help increase accessibility to non-native English speakers and those from a different or non-scientific background.
