This course will introduce you to the different requirements for lectureship applications, including information as to what to include in your CV, cover letter, research and teaching statements.
It will also cover how you can highlight your evidence of esteem and successes beyond research and teaching. 
This course is aimed at postdocs and fellows, but there are a limited number of spaces for PGRs.
Aims
- To introduce the key requirements for lectureship/assistant professor applications
- To provide information on what to include in CVs and research/teaching/supporting statements
- To give ideas and highlight achievements and contributions beyond research and teaching for your application
Prerequisites
To make the most of this course we encourage participants to have attended the Research Vision and Academic CVs session.

- To maintain confidentiality, all participants are asked to agree to keep what is said within the group and not record or take screenshots/photos without permission. Pictures or quotes from the session should not be posted on social media or elsewhere without the express permission of those involved.
