How can you engage audiences online? What digital tools and platforms are suitable? How do you know your engagement has been successful?
In this online session run on Zoom by 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Public and Community Engagement team, you will experience tried and tested methods to engage audiences online and consider the potential benefits and limitations for audiences. The session will take you through the essential steps to effectively plan, deliver and evaluate online engagement, while also exploring key considerations for inclusive digital engagement.

This course is open to Research Degree Students, MRes, Postdocs and Research Fellows
Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this session you will be better able to:
- Identify the needs of different public audiences in online spaces
- Determine appropriate digital platforms and tools to engage public audiences
- Plan two-way digital engagement activities that meet your engagement aims
- Evaluate your online engagement activities by using appropriate digital methods
Prerequisites:
Participants are strongly advised to attend the ECRI accredited Core Public Engagement Masterclass, or have equivalent experience in carrying out public engagement.
