New courses
Enrol for October 2026

Learn British Sign Language in London with 51³Ô¹ÏÍø after:hours/ Our BSL classes are open to adults who are complete beginners as well as learners who want to build on existing British Sign Language skills, with evening courses designed to fit around work and other commitments.
British Sign Language is a rich visual language with its own grammar and structure. Our courses develop practical communication skills through hands-on learning, helping students become more confident using handshapes, facial expression, movement and space to communicate in everyday situations.
Classes are taught in a friendly and supportive environment by qualified and experienced BSL tutors with extensive experience of teaching adult learners. Alongside learning the language, students have opportunities to develop a greater understanding of Deaf culture, communication and the experiences of Deaf people.
Whether you are learning BSL for the first time or looking to develop skills you already have, our programme offers opportunities to continue your learning. We also offer courses exploring Deaf awareness and communication, helping students better understand accessibility, inclusion and Deaf perspectives.
Our British Sign Language evening classes take place at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in South Kensington. No previous experience is needed for our introductory BSL course, and you do not need to be an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø student or member of staff to enrol.
