The Grantham Institute at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College has collaborated with our partner institute, the Grantham Research Institute at LSE, on a briefing note on UK gas policy. The note analyses the positive contribution that natural gas, including shale gas, can make to the UK’s energy economy while calling for realism on our shale gas potential and warning that too great a reliance on gas could undermine the government’s low carbon strategy.
