What is GAYE?
The university has signed up to the , which allows staff to make donations to named charities through automatic salary deductions. Donations are taken before tax, which means the charity gets more of your donation and you pay less. It also means that charities don’t have to claim Gift Aid, so there’s less admin for them.
How do I register?
51³Ô¹ÏÍø staff should register by clicking on the and following the onscreen instructions to complete your details and provide information on the charities you wish to support.
You’ll need to provide your employee/payroll number and National Insurance number. If you don’t have a specific charity in mind, you can open an account to build your own giving fund to donate at a later date.
