The Data Academy is a suite of four programmes developed by 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Executive & Professional Education and Corndel, an award-winning work-based training provider.

These courses, funded by 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Growth and Skills Levy, equip individuals with the digital skills and technical proficiency needed to succeed in their current work roles.

Briefing session

51³Ô¹ÏÍø staff must attend the virtual briefing session on Tuesday 9 March 2027 to enrol on the Data Academy. This is an opportunity to find out more about the programme and get your questions answered.

Data-Driven Professional Programme

This course is for staff who regularly use tools like Excel, are responsible for reporting and decision-making, and want to feel more confident handling and presenting data. Delivered over fourteen months, it will help you better understand the data you have access to in your role, validate and interrogate information, and make more informed decisions.

Data-Driven Leader Programme

This course is for experienced managers who wish to develop the critical data skills they need to make insight-led decisions, communicate them, and build data-literate teams. Delivered over fourteen months, it will develop your understanding of the current and future digital landscape, your ability to communicate insightful data stories, your influence over digital transformation, and your implementation of high-impact data strategies.

Data Analyst Programme

This programme is for staff who work with large datasets and build predictive tools. Delivered over nineteen months, it builds powerful technical skills in data analysis to generate meaningful insights, helping you make more informed decisions and allocate resources more effectively.

Data Academy Taster: Excelling in Excel

Tuesday 9 February 2027, 10.00 – 11.00 - Register for the Excelling in Excel Session (Coming soon)

Interested in building your skills and confidence with data? Led by a Data specialist from Corndel, our training partner, this one-hour virtual session will cover the top five Excel functions, data structure and manipulation, and pivot tables. It is open to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø staff at all levels who are considering undertaking one of our Data Academy Apprenticeships displayed on this page.
