We, at Innovative DEsign & Advanced manufacturing (IDEA) Lab, led by Dr Ajit Panesar, are driven by the possibility of creating tangible impact across wide-ranging sectors by focusing on ubiquitous underpinning engineering objectives. For example, designing optimal structures for light-weighting, vibration-resilience, thermal-efficiency, and multi-functionality.
The research conducted in IDEA Lab revolves around two main themes:
