Researchers wishing to store samples obtained from other Institutions (within the UK or imported from outside the UK) in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College, must first register a sub-collection. Please see Sub-collections for more information on registering a sub-collection.
The following documents must also be uploaded onto the online database;
- Documentation to show that the originators of the material have given permission for these samples to be held in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College and what the samples can be used for (e.g. Material and Data Transfer Agreement, template of consent form, and copy of patient information leaflet).
- Documentation to show that there is approval for the project from an appropriate Ethics Committee and/or that the samples have been sourced with due regard to the laws and ethics of the source country.
- A protocol description, where appropriate.
