Kate Coombs is a leading behavioural science consultant in financial services, Managing Director of the Centre for Responsible Leadership at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School, and is the Programme Director for Responsible Leadership in a Complex World. She specialises in designing and testing behavioural interventions to drive cultural change, with a focus on leader behaviour, employee voice, inclusion, and behavioural risk. Previously, Kate was Head of Insights and an Executive Committee member at the Financial Services Culture Board, where she led a multidisciplinary team dedicated to raising standards of behaviour and competence in the sector. She also served as a Senior Behavioural Scientist at the Financial Conduct Authority, applying behavioural science to financial regulation and policy. Alongside her consultancy work, Kate designs and delivers executive education programmes at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School, equipping senior executives with practical strategies to lead responsibly.

Celia Moore is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Director of the Centre for Responsible Leadership at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School, contributing academic leadership and research that informs Sustainable Business practice. Prior to joining 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, she held positions at Bocconi University in Milan and London Business School, where she was on the faculty for nine years. She has also been a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School and a Fellow of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. She is currently an Academic Fellow of the Ethics and Compliance Initiative and sits on the UK’s Banking Standards Board Assessment Steering Committee, with research interests spanning governance, ethics and organisational sustainability.

Dr Sanaz Talaifar is an Assistant Professor in Organisational Behaviour in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. She studies identity and its intersections with politics and technology using a multi-method approach that combines traditional methods (surveys, experiments) with novel methods (smartphone sensing, experience sampling), strengthening the course’s research base. Prior to joining 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, she was a Postdoctoral Scholar in Organizational Behavior in the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. She received her PhD in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of academia, she has work experience in people analytics at Google and in executive search at Egon Zehnder, adding professional perspective for students.

Derek Ho

Derek specialises in privacy and data protection and technology law. Prior to Mastercard, Derek held senior legal positions in multinational companies in the Asia Pacific region, and was part of Drew & Napier LLC’s telecommunications, media and technology practice in Singapore. In addition to his work at Mastercard, Derek has served in various advisory roles with different organisations, including as a member of the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission’s Advisory Committee on Data Protection, a member of the DIFC Digital Economy Court Working Group, and a member of the OECD AI Expert Group on AI, Data and Privacy. Derek earned a Doctorate in Business Administration, cum laude from SDA Bocconi School of Management, and a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional and Certified Information Privacy Manager.

Mark Kennedy leads 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Data Science Institute and teaches on PhD, Master's and Executive Education programmes. His research examines how emerging innovations, technologies and ideas become accepted, contested and ultimately embedded in society, organisations and markets. Drawing on quantitative methods including text and network analysis, his work explores the social and organisational impact of innovation across fields such as artificial intelligence, business, science and law. His current research focuses on the evolution of AI and its effects on work, organisations and society, the role of cultural and legal precedent in innovation adoption, task mining from job descriptions, and how individuals build networks of support, advice and collaboration. Mark's research has been published in leading journals including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, American Sociological Review and Organization Science.

Matt Lipson

Matt is Deputy Director of Undaunted, where he turns cutting-edge science into scalable climate solutions by combining the speed of startups with the reach of industry. Matt has 20+ years' experience helping start-ups and major utilities deliver low-carbon solutions that cut costs and improve lives. Matt has managed large R&D portfolios, raised millions in investment, and built partnerships across industry and government. Key projects include partnering with OVO and Octopus to roll out heat-pumps and building a Living Lab of smart homes to predict and manage electricity demand. Matt has also featured on the BBC to communicate energy innovation to wider audiences.

Professor Marc Stettler is Professor in Transport and the Environment at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, where he leads the Transport & Environment Laboratory and the Network of Excellence in Aerosols and Health. His research focuses on evaluating and reducing the impact of transport on climate change, air pollution and public health. Marc leads research across road, aviation and emerging transport technologies, with expertise in greenhouse gas emissions, air quality, aerosol science, sustainable aviation, and the lifecycle analysis of alternative fuels and vehicle technologies. He is also 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Partnerships Director for the EPSRC-funded Centre for Doctoral Training in Aerosol Science, a collaboration between eight UK universities and industry partners. Marc joined 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2015 and was awarded the President's Award for Outstanding Early Career Researcher in 2018.

Professor Wenjia Bai is a Reader in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, with joint appointments in the Departments of Computing and Brain Sciences. He leads the Medical Vision Group at the Data Science Institute and is a faculty member of the Biomedical Image Analysis Group. His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to medical imaging, with particular expertise in cardiac image analysis and large-scale health data. Committed to open science and reproducible research, his work has enabled the analysis of imaging data from more than 80,000 UK Biobank participants, supporting discoveries in disease prediction and population health. Wenjia has published over 160 peer-reviewed papers and serves on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging. He leads and contributes to major EPSRC, NIHR and British Heart Foundation funded research programmes.
