Although a variety of computational tools are used across the College, one of the core modelling infrastructure in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College is the . Firedrake is the computational engine behind , 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s in-house ocean modelling infrastructure. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College also hosts the Data Science 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, which provides expertise on a range of topics, including data learning, analytics and visualization.

Modelling and data analytics are areas of particular interest in the departments of Mathematics, Physics, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences and Engineering.

Oceans and climate
