In 2022, the team was awarded 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s highest academic honour — the President’s Medal for Excellence in Research. This prestigious award is granted to only one research team each year, selected from over 500 candidates across 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. The evaluation process is extremely rigorous, and in some years, the award may even be withheld if no team meets the high standard.
