Professor Tony Cass and former Oxford colleagues awarded a National Chemical Landmark blue plaque
The team, including Professor Tony Cass now in the Department of Chemistry at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø along with colleagues Allen Hill and Graham David from Oxford University, that created a new type of sensor allowing diabetics to easily and accurately monitor their blood sugar have been awarded a National Chemical Landmark blue plaque which is being unveiled today16 July 2012.
In the 1980s, the trio developed a new technique that enabled a range of proteins to be investigated electrochemically, paving the way for a new type of monitoring device.
