MP Emphasises Importance of Engineering Research
Minister for Science and Universities, talking at the RAE Research Forum, says engineering is key for UK economic growth.
On Wednesday 12th September, addressing the Royal Academy of Engineering's annual , David Willetts MP emphasised how important engineering research was to the growth of the UK economy. Willetts, , also spoke about the Government's commitment to strategic investements in research and innovation, including the three that were announced recently, of which £5m was awarded to Chemical Engineering's Professor Omar Matar.
