Professor Praveen Anand has been awarded a grant by the NC3Rs, with funding from the MRC and Technology Strategy Board.

The aim of the studies is to validate novel treatments for chronic pain and nerve regeneration, to be progressed in clinical trials.

Pfizer and Grünenthal are industry partners and expected to support long-term studies, along with the MRC, on the successful completion of Phase I of this project
