Jonas Huhn and Eduardo Izquierdo Garcia Join the Group

Jonas Huhn joins the group as a final year undergraduate student from the , Germany. His 16 week research placement (16th April -3rd Aug) is funded by the ERASMUS exchange scheme. Jonas is exploring chemistry relating to a catalytic asymmetric benzilic ester (BER) rearrangement.

Eduardo Izquierdo Garcia joins the group as a final year undergraduate student from the , Spain. His 9 week research placement (2nd July - 7th Sept) is funded by the ERASMUS exchange scheme. Edu is working on the asymmetric total synthesis of lophirone H via a Prins cyclisation.
