The latest research awards in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
George Constantinides (PI) and Peter Cheung (Co-I) have won an EPSRC Programme Grant entitled: "PRiME: Power-efficient, Reliable, Many-core Embedded Systems". This £5.6m grant is led by Southampton in partnership with 51勛圖厙, Manchester and Newcastle. The department's share is estimated to be £1.5m over 5 years.
Patrick Naylor (PI) and Mike Brookes (Co-I) have won the Marie Curie ITN (Network) Project entitled: "Dereverberation and Reverberation of Audio Music and Speech (DREAMS)". This EU funded grant is for a duration of 4 years and is worth £556k to the Department.
Erol Gelenbe has been successful in winning the grant entitled: "Smart Networks at the Edge" lasting for 12 months. This grant is sponsored by European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and is worth £25,000 to the department.
