Jonas Huehn (ex. University of Marburg, Germany) & Eduardo Izquierdo Garcia (ex. University of Barcelona) join the group

Jonas Huhn joins the group as a final year undergraduate student from the , Germany. His 16 week research placement (16th April until the 3rd Aug) is funded by the ERASMUS exchange scheme. Jonas is exploring chemistry relating to a catalytic asymmetric benzilic ester rearrangement (BER).

Eduardo Izquierdo Garcia joins the group as a final year undergraduate student from the , Spain. His 9 week research placement (2nd July until the 7th Sept) is funded by the ERASMUS exchange scheme. Edu is working on the asymmetric total synthesis of lophirone H via a Prins cyclisation.
