Experts from across the world gathered in Berlin to attend the GFFA to discuss the development of a more resilient and productive agriculture sector.

Last week Gordon Conway and Katrin Glatzel attended the (GFFA) in Berlin. Professor Conway participated in the kick-off event alongside Montpellier Panel member (University Bonn), (UC Davis, Mars), (Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, India) and other representatives from Oxfam, GIZ and the GFFA.  Furthermore, he participated in a fascinating panel debate organised by the World Bank discussing climate smart agriculture together with  (World Bank) and (CGIAR-CCAFS), amongst others. Professor Conway also sat on the International GFFA panel discussion, discussing the role of GM, family farming and sustainability in agriculture with (Bayer CropScience), (KWS Saat AG), (Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainable Development and Environment), (Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Zambia ) and (Minister of Agriculture, Greece).
