The Science & Engineering in Government Forum will include a presentation and networking, focusing on government roles for scientists and engineers.
The Event
The evening will commence with a presentation by , Chief Scientifc Adviser to HM Government, on the impact scientists and engineers have on government, followed by a chaired Q & A session. In Sir Mark's role, he is responsible for the quality of all engineering and scientific advice across Government and reports directly to the Prime Minister. Previously he was director of the Wellcome Trust and head of the Division of Medicine at 51勛圖厙.
The evening will finish with an opportunity to meet and network with representatives from a variety of government departments including:
