Alumni in Singapore gathered for a special Centenary reception, with 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Ambassador, Professor Dame Julia Higgins - 8 August 2007

Throughout 2007, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø is staging a year-long celebration of its Centenary with an exciting programme that includes special international alumni events.  These events will include visits and presentations by world-renowned 51³Ô¹ÏÍø academics, under the College's new International Ambassador Scheme*.

As part of this programme, alumni in Singapore were invited to an alumni reception, organised by the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Alumni Association of Singapore (ICAAS), on Wednesday 8 August 2007. Celebrating this in the College's Centenary year, the reception was attended by 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Ambassador, Professor Dame Julia Higgins, Principal of the Faculty of Engineering at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.

Professor Higgins gave a general update on the College and its Centenary, followed by a presentation of her research entitled 'Growing Interactions: from individuals to systems in my research at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø'.  Professor Higgins' profile can be viewed on .

ICAAS express their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Professor Higgins for giving a most interesting talk.  There has been much positive feedback, including the following:
