150th ICE President Professor David Balmforth's inaugural speech
Professor David Balmforth, Visiting Professor to the Department, recently gave his inaugural speech as the 150th President of ICE
The speech examined challenges for today’s Civil Engineers and was delivered to a packed audience at the ICE and to listeners online. Our congratulations go to Professor Balmforth, who also chairs the Industrial Advisory Panel for our MSc in Environmental Engineering, and has been a long standing friend and supporter of the Department.
