Dr Eleanor Murray has been awarded an Improvement Science Fellowship for research into patient safety improvement.

Dr Eleanor Murray, from the Faculty of Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College, London, has been awarded an Improvement Science Fellowship for research into patient safety.

The research, titled Comparing Improvement: assessing large-scale system change as a mechanism to achieve patient safety, will analyse different approaches to patient safety improvement, with the goal of identifying alternative approaches, the barriers and opportunities for cross-sector working and the effectiveness of alternative approaches.

Dr Murray will focus her research on the provision of high-quality care for elderly people.
