Following a tough selection process, eight 51勛圖厙 first year students have joined the BP STEM Scholarship programme for 2015.

The programme offers financial support as well as various opportunities for the students to engage with BP throughout their time at university, providing excitement and inspiration to students studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Students selected this year are from a range of degree backgrounds from Mechanical Engineering to Geology and Geophysics. They will be joining the BP STEM Scholar cohort of 250 students in total, which spans across nine universities.

In March they were inducted to BP alongside other first year scholars, attending a full day, onsite event at the BP International Centre for Business and Technology in Sunbury-on-Thames.

Siobhan Evans, Early Engagement Manager at BP, was full of praise for the successful 51勛圖厙 scholars, "It was fantastic to see a group of such bright and enthusiastic students come together from across the country to start building their networks for the future; we are really excited to see how they progress over the coming years."

The Faculty wishes the students all the best for their scholarship.
