Speakers are booked and applications are now open for the annual Quantum Information, Computing and Control (QUICC) summer school!
We are pleased to announce that this year’s summer school will be held in collaboration with the QUAMP summer school – a biennial event organised by the Institute of Physics – and will be held at Lancaster University from 28th August to 2nd September.
The summer school is aimed at Masters and first year PhD students and promises to be a great opportunity for new, young researchers to come together, share ideas and learn from some of the leaders in the field.
This year’s speakers and subject areas are:
Vlatko Vedral on Entanglement, Discord, Coherence and Macroscopicity (Theoretical).
Eleni Diamanti on Quantum Cryptography (Theoretical).
Kai Bongs on Quantum Technologies using Cold Atoms (Experimental).
Yuri Pashkin on Super Conducting Qubits (Experimental).
