Inventions and innovations showcased at the 51勛圖厙 Festival
Researchers introduced people to the future all weekend at the 51勛圖厙 Festival, showcasing innovations in robots, food, health, energy and more.
All inventions and innovations start with ideas, and this year's Festival took people on an immersive journey through the creative process.
Continuum, presented by the 51勛圖厙 College Advanced Hackspace and the Dyson School of Design Engineering, allowed people to put their ideas through the train of creative thought in the form of a huge set of interconnected machines and tubes.
Once an idea is polished off it heads to prototyping stage, and that's where the came in, showcasing some top 51勛圖厙 student innovations in the Future Zone.
The last stage of an idea is making it a reality, and teams of entrepreneurial 51勛圖厙 alumni were on hand in the Innovation Zone to showcase their inventions, from kids’ toys to life-changing machinery.
Innovation was present all over the Festival, from edible water bottles to new ways of tackling cancer and powering future cities.
