Get ready for the 10th Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics

Join us during UK Robotics Week from 25th - 28th June as we celebrate our 10th Hamlyn Symposium at the Royal Geographical Society in London.
Through a series of presentations, competitions, challenges and innovations, guests will discover what to expect from the emerging world of medical robotics in the next ten years.
We have a packed for you this year with keynote speeches from of the Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Korea; Dr from Intuitive Surgical; Professor from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Professor from the University of Oxford.
This year, we are introducing a Leader’s Forum to the conference. Chaired by Professors and Hamlyn Centre Co-Director, and sponsored by Magazine, our Leaders Forum offers a platform for experts from across the globe to provide their views on the way forward for medical robotics in the years to come. Experts include Professors , , and .
Workshops and demonstrations will be held on Sunday 25th and Wednesday 28th June including the unveiling of ’s new Davinci X Robot. Our will also be hosted on Sunday 25th June and on Monday 26th, we are hosting an evening drinks reception at the Science Museum to celebrate our 10th birthday.

UK Robotics Showcase
The Symposium and UK Robotics Week are brought to a close on the 30th June during the hosted by the UK-RAS Network at the IET Savoy Place in London.
The showcase will include fascinating and diverse demonstrations of cutting edge robotics technology. Expert panels will then lead lively discussions and debates on the ethical, legal and economic impacts of robotics and artificial intelligence, as well as in using robots for emergency response and disaster relief.
The showcase will conclude with an award ceremony to all the challenge winners.
