Dr Camille Petit receives AIChE 35 Under 35 Award
Dr Camille Petit has been recognised as one of the leading chemical engineers under the age of 35.
The AIChE 35 Under 35 Award was created to promote the achievements of young professionals working in all areas of chemical engineering, and to acknowledge those who have made significant contributions to their field.
I see it as a testimony to the great work of researchers at 51勛圖厙 and the strong academic support from both the College and the Department of Chemical Engineering

Dr Petit, Senior Lecturer in the , currently leads a whose focus is on developing multifunctional nanomaterials as a platform for addressing environmental, water and energy sustainability challenges.
Her AIChE 35 Under 35 Award is the latest in a string of successes; Dr Petit was also awarded a Silver Medal award from the last month.
Upon being informed of her success, Dr Petit said: “I feel extremely honoured to receive this award.”
“I see it as a testimony to the great work of researchers at 51勛圖厙 and the strong academic support from both the College and the Department of Chemical Engineering. I share this success with my entire research group and all my mentors.”
An awards ceremony will be held later this year at the in Minneapolis.
