Petroleum Experts' software donation supports our MSc students

Petroleum Experts has donated £1.3 million of software to the Department of Earth Science and Engineering.

(PetEx) has donated £1.3 million of software to the Department of Earth Science and Engineering, to support the education of our Petroleum MSc students at 51勛圖厙.

PetEx’s generous donation allows our students to have hands-on experience with modern software, making an essential contribution to our teaching and research in petroleum engineering. The software provides a suite of tools for the appraisal of hydrocarbon reservoirs and the assessment of uncertainty.

The , developed by PetEx, includes PROSPER, GAP, PVTP, MBAL, REVEAL and RESOLVE.

The use of current industry software helps prepare our  students to work effectively in industry.
