Congratulations to Ji Han, Feng Shi, Dongmyung Park, Liuqing Chen and Peter Childs for their outstanding paper award at Design 2018.
Their paper, ‘The conceptual distances between ideas in combinational creativity’ indicates that far-related ideas are used more often than closely-related ones to produce creative combinational designs, and that far-related ideas could lead to more creative outcomes.
