CMBI Student Lizzie Ledger wins runner up poster prize

Congratulations to Lizzie Ledger, a Wellcome Trust funded PhD student from the Edwards group who won the runners’ up prize for her poster on daptomycin tolerance at the recent Antimicrobial Resistance Mechanisms meeting hosted by the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy in Birmingham.

The CMBI was well represented at the meeting, with group leaders and each discussing their work on tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR), whilst 5 post-doctoral and postgraduate researchers presented posters that highlighted new research into antibiotic resistance mechanisms and novel therapeutic approaches.
