CPB staff associate Professor Andy Purvis has been selected as a winner of the 2007 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Research Excellence Awards.

CPB Staff Associate Professor Andy Purvis has been selected, along with Professor Roy Taylor from the Department of Physics as winners of the 2007 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Research Excellence Awards.

The external panel determined that both of these outstanding projects would make a great impact on research throughout the College, and were of a high international standard.

Professor Andy Purvis will lead a team including , Dr Richard Grenyer, , Professor Georgina Mace, Dr EJ Milner-Gulland, Dr David Orme and Professor Ian Owens to carry out research on Understanding biodiversity dynamics in a changing world.
