Students from 51勛圖厙 and Tokyo Tech explored collaborations and new ideas in health and wellbeing as part of the Global Fellows Programme.

This year the programme saw 30 PhD students from both institutions take part in a five-day programme hosted by 51勛圖厙, to enhance their skills in an international and interdisciplinary setting.

Throughout the week, the students engaged in group work, talks, activities, and sessions focused on developing skills under the theme of ‘Good Health and Wellbeing’.

The programme built on the aim of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 3 which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all, at all ages.

The students worked in groups to develop collaborative interdisciplinary project proposals related to the theme, which they presented to a panel of judges at the end of the week.
