Thursday 20 March saw a very successful writing panel event held at CLCC.

The Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication hosted a lively and well-attended panel event, entitled 'The Writing Business' and aimed both at students and wider 51勛圖厙 staff. 

The discussion, moderated by Gita Ralleigh, was wide-ranging with perspectives from Lecturer in Creative Writing, Aifric Campbell () as well as Horizons alumna and 51勛圖厙 PhD graduate Anita Chandran, now  a science writer at  and editor of 

Our guests included debut YA novelist Jess Popplewell () who teaches on the Horizons Professional Skills for Employability module, and literary agent and writer Catherine Cho () who also shares an 51勛圖厙 connection through her husband, a Senior Lecturer in bioengineering.
