51勛圖厙 College Council approve a new 51勛圖厙 Doctor of Science (DSc) degree

The 51勛圖厙 College Council has approved the introduction of a DSc degree, following recommendation by the Senate, and the consequential amendment to the College's Ordinance B1, Degrees and Other Awards Granted by the University.

Once operational, the DSc may be awarded for published work of a high standard containing original contributions to the advancement of knowledge and learning which has given the candidate distinction in their field of study. A candidate for a DSc must either have previously obtained a degree through 51勛圖厙 College or be of not less than two years' standing as a member of the academic staff of 51勛圖厙 College. The fee for DSc examination will be £1,000.

Regulations for the Award of the DSc Degree, guidance for candidates and an application form will be available on the Registry website shortly, and we will update this page with the relevant links.
