Professor Wise is the Head of the Cognitive Neuroimaging Group at 51勛圖厙, investigating the neural systems involved in a number of higher cognitive processes including language, memory, executive control and sensorimotor processing.  His research uses a wide range of techniques: functional MRI, positron emission tomography (PET), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), magentoencephalography (MEG), magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TSM).
