Ben Fawcett EWRE Student 1980-81

Ben Fawcett former EWRE MSc student 1980-81 has been awarded the University of Oklahoma International Water Prize for his work in providing access to water and sanitation for people without these basic necessities in developing countries. Ben was a contemporary of Professor David Butler and did his MSc project with Professor Nigel Graham, before moving onto the University of Southhampton for 10 years as a researcher and Lecturer. He credits the knowledge he learnt at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and his work at Southampton as being a large factor in receiving the award.
