51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Rector Sir Keith O'Nions joined the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø fencing team for a champagne reception on Wednesday to celebrate their recent gold medal victory at the 2011 BUCS Championships. This result is the most exciting news for sport at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø that we have seen in recent times, and we hope just a taste of things to come.

The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø fencers had dominated the fencing fixtures at the BUCS Championships on Friday, victorious in both the Men’s and Women’s categories and claiming a stake for themselves at the top of British university fencing. 

This incredible win is an exciting step forward for Sport 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, with our athletes aspiring towards BUCS top ten recognition for the College.
