The centre hosted a workshop for over 75 researchers and policymakers to discuss how the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) should set its cost-effectiveness threshold.

 As part of a continuing research initiative, on 9 May 2011 the Centre hosted a workshop for over 75 researchers and policymakers to discuss how the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) should set its cost-effectiveness threshold. This research, funded by the Medical Research Council, is seeking to inform the maximum price that the National Health Service should expect to pay for new technologies. Further details at:
