'Cultivating Curiosity, Creating Connections'

The Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication (CLCC) has launched its Strategy 2025-2030. Entitled 'Cultivating Curiosity, Creating Connections', the strategy - available via its website, and as a downloadable pdf - addresses the centre's overall Vision and Aims for its students and graduates. It explores how the CLCC can best use its position within the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø STEMB environment to balance the impact of challenges in our fast-changing world. Building on established programmes and initiatives, the strategy 2025-30 looks to projects and partnerships for the near future, with Aims in five core areas:

  1. Students - Empowering Global, Curious and Resilient leaders;
  2. Staff - Developing an Engaged, Skilled and Collaborative Community;
  3. Impact - Humanities for Science;
  4. Opportunity - Growing Reach and Future Potential;
  5. Organisation - Building a Robust, Agile, and Future-Ready Centre.

The launch of the new strategy coincides with the CLCC's brand refresh project which has seen the old visual identity of 5 static lines, replaced with 6 more fluid and colourful lines - or 'roots' - and thus continues the theme that 'stembs need roots'.
