Supporting the Senior Tutor team are the Faculty Senior Tutors. There is one Faculty Senior Tutor for each Faculty at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Faculty Senior Tutors ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality support for students in their personal, general academic and professional development. They work with departments to ensure students are adequately supported and appropriate processes at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø are implemented. They also advocate for personal tutoring at an institutional level and sit on appropriate governance committees.
Faculty Senior Tutors are also a point of contact between personal/Senior Tutors and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Union. Feedback from students about personal tutoring is flagged to the Faculty Senior Tutors and pursued if necessary.
Additionally, Faculty Senior Tutors provide Senior Tutors and students support with concerns or more complex situations.
