I completed a PhD working in The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Centre for Synthetic Biology under the supervision of Dr Tom Ouldridge, Dr Rodrigo Ledesma Amaro, and Dr Danny O’Hare. My research interest lies in controlling gene expression using a SynBio-based electronic toolbox.
I graduated in Biotechnology at Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in 2018. During this time, I took part in the iGEM competition and found out the enormous potential of the Synthetic Biology field. For this reason, I did the MRes in Systems and Synthetic Biology at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.
During my master's project, I studied the potential impact of RNA nanotechnology and feedback circuits in synthetic biology under the supervision of Dr Wooli Bae, Dr Tom Ouldridge, and Dr Guy-Bart Stan. Thanks to this experience, I learned the importance of working in a multidisciplinary team where the expertise of a field can take advantage of another.
