The Health and Technology theme drives convergence between disciplines and technologies, conducting transformational research to shift the global conversation from treating illness to sustaining lifelong health – across diverse populations, geographies and systems. 

Our approach is bold, integrative and impact-led. Working across 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and beyond, we are redefining how health research is done, who it serves, and what it can achieve – creating a fairer, healthier and more resilient future for all and are focusing on three key problems:​

• Health inequity, driven by social, economic, and environmental factors​
• Spiralling global health costs ​
• Sudden shocks, such as pandemics, conflict and climate disasters, necessitating health system resilience
