The Move 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Hammersmith Gym is located in the sub-basement of the Commonwealth Building at Hammersmith Campus. The gym was completely refurbished in September 2018 to include state of the art equipment from Matrix and includes a range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment as well as free weights to achieve a full body workout.
The gym is open to students, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and NHS staff based at the Hammersmith Hospital. The facility is unmanned, although a member of the Active Lifestyles team will visit this facility on a weekly basis to complete cleaning and equipment checks. If you have any other enquiries, please

51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Students:
Step 1: If you haven’t already, sign up for the annual 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Student Gym and Swim membership
Step 2: to request for access to be added to your College ID card. Access will remain until the 31 August each year. (51³Ô¹ÏÍø Student Gym and Swim members do not need to complete a further Health Commitment Statement as this was completed as part of your registration process at Ethos.)
Club 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Members:
Step 1: If you already have a Club 51³Ô¹ÏÍø membership and would like access to the Sport 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Hammersmith Hospital Gym please to request for access to be added to your College ID card. Access will remain until you cancel your Club 51³Ô¹ÏÍø membership. (Club 51³Ô¹ÏÍø members do not need to complete a further Health Commitment Statement as this was completed as part of your registration process at Ethos.)
51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Staff and NHS Staff:
Step 1: Contact the Active Lifestyles Team (College staff . NHS staff click here) to confirm the membership you are wishing applying for.
Step 2: A member of the Active Lifestyles Team will email you an online payment link and Health Commitment Statement.
Step 3: Complete the required payment online and return the completed Health Commitment Statement to the Active Lifestyles Team.
Step 4: Once the Active Lifestyles Team have received notification of your payment and a copy of your Health Commitment Statement they will contact the Security Team at Hammersmith Hospital to have your card activated for the duration of the selected membership.
Step 5: A member of the Active Lifestyles Team will email you to confirm that your card has been activated and the date it will expire.
