The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Class of 2030 will be the most talented, the most enterprising and the most diverse we have ever had the privilege to serve.
The 2030 and future cohorts will be empowered by world-class infrastructure (digital and physical), an inclusive community, and a multidisciplinary education rooted in entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.
Bringing together the Learning and Teaching Strategy and the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Experience Academic Strategy Project, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Class of 2030 initiative is transforming education and student life to ensure graduates develop the skills needed to tackle the world’s most complex challenges.
The initiative made significant progress across its six strategic aims during 2025-26.
Major milestones included selecting and preparing for deployment of Canvas as 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s new university-wide Learning Management System, developing learning analytics tools to better support students and personal tutors, reviewing the university’s feedback policy, reducing the volume of assessments, launching new surveys focused on Welcome and the wider student experience, staging the first university-wide pre-sessional residentials to support underrepresented students, providing comprehensive support throughout their time at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, and completing consultation and agreeing 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Vision for Education in the Age of AI.
The initiative also strengthened the student experience through the launch of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Connect, a student focused initiative to foster connections across 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s diverse student community, as well as expansion of StudentShapers with a new student-initiated funding stream, and engagement with students to inform improvements to teaching, study and social spaces across 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s campuses.
Together, these achievements demonstrate continued progress towards delivering a more connected, inclusive and future-focused educational experience for every 51³Ô¹ÏÍø student.
